Dr. Anke Strauß is a critical management and organisation researcher interested in relationships between the art and the (business) organisation sphere. At the Zeppelin University, she works on collaboration, newness and alternative ways of organising.
Christina Ciupke is a performer and choreographer based in Berlin. She develops projects and specific situations in collaboration with artists from dance and other disciplines. www.christinaciupke.com
Ways of Collaborating
Bringing into dialogue the body of knowledge of contemporary performance art with that of critical organization theory, we believe, has the potential to generate new perspectives and approaches for researching organizing practices under conditions of individualized work.
We thus constantly moved between art and research practice and theoretical and poetic reflection to enable our respective fields to inform each other. For our reflection of the process we interlace personal experiences and observations from participants and ourselves as mutual collaborators to think about the potential of our collaboration as an example of a productive engagement between artists and researchers.
